Local projects, partnerships, and community participation
Community Impact
Clarion County is a small community with a strong tradition of people, businesses, and organizations working together. Zenith Community Program supports projects that bring people together, address local needs, create opportunities, and strengthen community relationships.
These are examples of the ways ZCP, its partners, volunteers, and affiliated programs have contributed to the community.
Ruck and Roll for Veterans’ Mental Health
ZCP organized a community event to raise awareness of the challenges veterans may face while transitioning from military service to civilian life.
The event was supported by volunteers and representatives from the Clarion County Coalition for Suicide Prevention and Clarion University’s ROTC program. Marine Corps veteran Randall Cunningham spoke about his own transition and the value of learning new skills, accepting new challenges, and connecting with people who share common experiences.
The event also introduced the ZCP Reinforcement Veterans Program. Participants completed a 2.2-kilometer ruck through Clarion, received an event patch, and were invited to participate in an introductory Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class.
No-Bake-ing Days
Zenith MMA has hosted free cooking activities for students, parents, families, and friends. Participants work together to read recipes, measure ingredients, prepare no-bake treats, and take home what they make.
These activities give children a relaxed opportunity to practice cooperation, following directions, basic food preparation, and positive social interaction outside of regular martial arts classes.
Mews and Brews
ZCP helped facilitate and operate Mews and Brews, a community event supporting adoptable cats from Tri-County Animal Rescue Center.
The event brought local businesses and community members together for cat-themed activities while collecting donations and increasing awareness of animals available for adoption.
Local Business Partnerships
Infusion Nightclub and Grille
When Zenith MMA announced a Parents’ Night Out event, Infusion Nightclub and Grille donated wristbands allowing participating parents to attend a local performance without paying a cover charge.
In return, the partnership and Infusion’s event were promoted through local social-media channels. The arrangement created value for parents while providing additional exposure for a local business.
Clarion River Brewing Company
ZCP partnered with Clarion River Brewing Company for a Dine to Donate event. ZCP promoted the event and encouraged community members to support the local restaurant.
Clarion River Brewing Company donated a portion of eligible event-day sales to Zenith Community Program.
Holiday Cookies and Cards for Nursing Home Residents
Zenith MMA has hosted free holiday events for youth students and their friends. Participants decorated cookies and created handmade cards for residents of a local nursing home.
The project gives children an opportunity to create something for others while sharing encouragement and holiday cheer with older members of the community.
Veronesi Auto Sales Partnership
Veronesi Auto Sales of New Bethlehem and Zenith MMA developed an ongoing summer partnership supporting both local business promotion and ZCP programming.
During the designated campaign period, Zenith MMA promotes Veronesi Auto Sales and encourages community members to shop locally. Veronesi then donates 1% of the purchase price of eligible vehicles sold during the campaign month to Zenith Community Program.
Contributions from the partnership help ZCP provide scholarships, youth opportunities, athlete assistance, and other approved community programs.
Help Create the Next Community Project
ZCP welcomes opportunities to work with local businesses, nonprofits, schools, volunteers, civic groups, and community members on projects that align with our mission.
Partnerships may include fundraising events, volunteer projects, educational programs, sponsorships, donated goods or services, community activities, and other practical forms of support.
